This was definitely a fun evening, well organised, but with room for improvement! 1. The menu we cooked was not well-balanced, with far too much coconut. Of course, it is a staple in Sri Lanka, but 4 of 6 dishes were coconut! When I was in Sri Lanka, there was a good range of other flavours in every meal. I don't feel I can create a good meal after this session, just some tasty dishes. 2. The recipe booklet is not well-presented, with many errors, omitting punctation for the sense, and contradiction of what we were told when cooking. More care would have made this more a useful item. 3. No "doggy bags." Why on earth not? Of course you should provide containers - otherwise all that delicious food we cook is wasted. (Too much to eat.) 4. An expensive 3 hours. Of course, all the ingredients and equipment etc were provided, but still too expensive.
