School Holiday Full Day - Traditional Irish Dishes

What happens in this class?

We will start the day making Boxty for brunch (think of it as a cross between a pancake and a hash brown), they get to grips with a couple of lunch dishes. We will give a choice of dishes to make for lunch, including colcannon or Coddle (who doesn't like potatoes and sausages!).
Our dishes to take home will include Irish Stew (or potato soup), sodabread and Irish apple cake. As with all our school holiday classes, all ingredients, snacks and drinks are provided. Lunch will be made during the session

Things to remember

Children can be left for the day or parents can stay and watch or join in the class. If children have additional needs (or are just feeling a little shy), we encourage parents (or older siblings) to work alongside them if needed. As social distancing restrictions lift, we will group…
