If you're after an Indian food joke, you've come to the wrong place, we've got naan.

Out with the old and in with the new! Believe it or not, the cuisine has changed dramatically in large cities throughout India, even if food outlets here have had the same menus for as long as they've been going.

This class will get you to grips with olive oil, other Mediterranean ingredients and international spices that are currently taking over the real, authentic Indian cuisines in the country itself

Your menu for the morning will come as a surprise to some but is a refreshing change from the all too familiar traditional menus. You'll make all of the following with a few more surprises thrown in!

  • pomegranate paste aubergine
  • olive and rosemary chutney soufflé
  • sun dried tomato
  • basil and chilli dosa style crepes
  • fennel coconut and lemon myrtle panir

There'll be a cocktail break later on in the afternoon to quench the thirst. You can also opt to dine in and eat the delicious food you have created with the group or take it home to enjoy with family and friends.

Afte this class you will be able to:

  • educate people about the REAL Indian food
  • have an Indian themed dinner party, and nail it!
  • entertain your vegan friends, who also love a curry!

About your host, London Vegetarian School

Whether you are a vegetarian, or vegan, or just want to spice things up in the kitchen - London Vegetarian and Vegan School has you covered.

Conveniently located by London Bridge, this boutique school offers some classes and courses that traditional cooking schools don't.

All classes are taught in small sizes so that you get loads of help (even if you are a pro and don't need it, the offer is there!) and advice throughout. This place is all about service and experience, and it shows. The equipment is top-notch and after your daily cooking-workout you are invited to come and hang-out in "the Peacock room", where you can enjoy your tasty food over some Baroque music and a drink (and feel free to invite your friends along too).

Also, you will learn more than just to cook here, as the teachers run you through additional tips and tricks on how to nail a dinner party at home (we are talking about food presentation, lighting, colours, music , the whole shebang 😃 )
