2 hour class
‘New World’ is the wine world’s term for a wine produced outside of the classic European regions. While we may not have been drinking these wines for as long as Rioja, Bordeaux and Burgundy, producers in these countries have been perfecting their craft for many decades and, in some cases, centuries.
With a focus on key grape varieties, this multi-continental exploration of the New World will present eight of the most famous ‘modern classic’ wines from outside of Europe.
Journey through Chile, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and the USA to learn what these diverse and innovative regions have to offer the world of wine. Try something new, rediscover an old favourite and walk away with a mini reference guide to New World wines!
