    Join Berry Bros. & Rudd and Barbara Drew for an evening of chocolate and wine pairing in the Sussex Cellar of the Berry Bros. & Rudd store in the heart of London

    An evening filled with spectacular flavours, matching stunning chocolate creations by the gifted Barbara Drew with the historic spirit stock of the Berry Bros. & Rudd cellar. Inspired by her previous career as an aromatherapist Barbara's spectacular creations will satiate your chocolate craving and allow you to experience the rich and diverse flavours that can be created with this magical bean. Barbara's success and loyal following stands as proof for the unique and extraordinary talent this chocolatier holds. For this night her chocolate will stand at the centre of Berry Bros. & Rudd's newest venue, the Sussex Cellar.

    In collaboration with the Head of Events & Education Richard Veal and Head Chef Stewart Turner, Barbara will create an innovative four-course dinner menu based around the cocoa bean. Stuart and Barbara's focus will be on presenting the multifarious and exceptional flavours of cocoa, Richard will select delicious and matching wines - beginning accordingly with a tempting Champagne. Following the meal your will have the privilege to enjoy a tutored chocolate tasting hosted by Barbara. This special evening will be a unique opportunity to indulge a shared love of chocolate, spirits and wine.

    Whilst embracing its heritage Berry Bros. & Rudd is constantly looking to innovate; being the first wine merchant to create a website in 1994, and temperature controlled wine cellars in the 1960s. Today’s modern state of the art warehouses contain more than 8.5 million bottles of wine.

    With the establishment of the warehouses in Hampshire and in the continuing spirit of innovation Berry Bros. & Rudd has made use of the original cellars underneath No.3 St James’s Street. Recently refurbished to a high standard, Berry Bros. & Rudd now runs friendly, fun and informative courses in these historic spaces. Leveraging off all the acquired expertise of the Masters of Wine and numerous other connoisseurs there is no better place to learn about wine and spirits than in the extraordinary Pickering Cellar.
