What you will do
2 hour workshop
A fast fix of my covetable Everlasting Mistletoe
a) prepare your branches using wire and wool b) cut leaf shapes (templates available if you wish) c) attach the leaves and berries d) tie a piece of ribbon e) repeat at home if you want to turn your sprig into a bunch
For those of you who don't have the time (or the inclination) to make your own felt for the leaves and beads but do want some very covetable everlasting mistletoe.
Taking place at Heather's home studio in Camberwell come on a specified workshop or gather a group of friends (up to 6 of you) for a specific day/time.
Fuelled on an ample supply of refreshments and home baked cake I'll show you how to bind the wire, cut the leaf shapes and add the leaves and berries using stitch. Finish your sprig off with a hanger and red ribbon bow.
NB: the last of of the pictures shows a massive bunch and not a sprig. You'll need to buy extra materials and cement what you've learned in your own home if you too want such a generous display. Of course, you'd be very welcome to come back to Purr & Wag It HQ for a further tabletop workshop to make some more with me after eating a bit more cake.
Allergies to cats or indeed wool? Please note Heather has three cats (they’ll be elsewhere in the house during the workshops). Antihistamines are available but her workshops may not be for you.
