No previous sewing experience necessary.

We will not be teaching you how to make items from scratch in these sessions. Please bring along items that need fixing. If you want to try out techniques on fabric scraps before you do them on your item that is fine.

I have thoroughly enjoyed all the classes I have done at Make Me Studio. The team explain things in a really clear and easy to understand way. They are incredibly helpful and are great teachers. I always enjoy going along and learning new skills. I most recently did the mending workshop which was great. And after doing the Ilford Jacket class I made ( after a lot of blood and tears ) a coat which is one of my favourites. I would highly recommend the classes for all skill levels. My daughter also goes to the after school classes and also has a great time.
