    What you'll learn

Wouldn't it be great to be able to alter our cloths so that they were never to be thrown out? Well, after taking this course you will be able to do just that, giving new life to old clothes!

    In this class

This is a class that is ideal for anyone who has recently either lost or gained weight, aiming to make their current wardrobe work for them. This is a perfect way of increasing the lifespan of your cloths and learning how to get the most for your money. The first part of the class will consist of demonstrations, before the students will get to grips with altering their own cloths.

    Now you can

    • Make your cloths last longer and maximize their potential
    • Get creative with your alterations and use your imagination to create something new out of something old
    • Pass on this knowledge with friends and practice this with them

    Keep / Eat

Students can bring up to 4 garments to work on. They should be able to complete alterations on at least 2 items depending on the difficultly of the alteration and their level of skills. They will be able to walk away with all that they create during the class.

    Did you know?

Here's one for all those interested in etymology: The word 'jeans' comes from the cotton pants worn by "Genes," the local term for Genoan sailors
