What you will do
3.5 hour workshop
In conjunction with our Crew Neck Sweatshirt, we are also offering a slightly longer workshop in which you will learn how to make a raglan sleeve hooded sweatshirt, with front pouch pocket.
It is advisable that you have attended our Intro to sewing workshop beforehand or have used a sewing machine before. Or you may find this workshop too difficult and may fall behind.
We have pattern sizes for the following:
XS = Chest 33 inches S = Chest 36 inches M = Chest 39 inches L = Chest 42 inches XL = Chest 45 inches XXL = Chest 48 inches
- Understand a commercial pattern (Kwik Sew 3045)
- Laying pattern pieces onto fabric, and making markings.
- Using the sewing machine and overlocker
- Attaching and stretching on cuffs, and waistbands for a snug fit.

What do I need to Bring 2.5 metres of sweatshirt fabric. If you would like a ribbed hem and cuffs, you will also need to bring 1 metre of ribbing fabric.
Do I Need To Provide Information Before I Attend? No, just turn up on the day!
Policy Doors close 15 minutes after the start time on all workshops. No free reschedules or refunds to latecomers. We will not be able to reschedule your booking if you forget your fabrics.
Workshop Duration This is a 3.5 hour workshop. Classes start promptly, so make sure you are on time.

About your host, The Fashion Box
Who we are: The Fashion Box Group was founded in 2013.
After graduating from Central Saint Martins, with a post-graduate degree in Advanced Innovative Pattern Cutting, Craig (Mr Fashion Box!) embarked on a kaleidoscope of successful ventures within the fashion industry. During this time, he has worked alongside a huge selection of fashion houses, new designers and is a mentor to many university lecturers and fashion graduates.
Craig has over 15 years experience in teaching in universities and colleges, as well as with private clients. As a result, he is accomplished at getting the best out of both groups of students and one-to-one situations.
After 7 years at Istituto Marangoni, he left to pursue his dreams of opening his own fashion school, which resulted in The Fashion Box Academy.
Craig is also Head of Fashion at LCCA, and is currently writing a programmes for The London College of Contemporary Arts’ MA course in Luxury Fashion Design.
Craig has been the Collection Manager for Qasimi Homme, worked alongside Sadie Clayton, and is currently working on production of a collection for Liberty of London.
