I had been following Kate's work as a designer as I love her paper folded lanterns! When I saw that she hosted this workshop to teach how to make your own one I though that it would have been great as I love crafts and to challenge myself in learning new skills, however I didn't think I was going to go home with an actual full size paper later made by myself. Kate's objects are so sophisticated and indeed really skilful however she was so good at teaching and patience with me when I needed to review what I was doing. I had such as great time, creating my beautiful lantern and other paper objects in a relaxed and peaceful environment. If you want to learn something a bit different and want to spend a fun creative day I highly recommend Kate's workshops to anyone!
