In this class
During the class your expert guide will teach you everything you need to know about making soap. You will start by going over the basics, such as learning about the different types of soaps and health and safety (not too much - we promise!).
Once you've got a better understanding of all things soap, you will learn how to make your own. You will have the choice of a wide range of different fragrances, colours and containers so you can design your soap just how you want, whether it's for you or for a gift!
You'll cover the steps involved in making traditional soaps using the melt and pour method, jelly soaps, bath bombs and coloured soaps! During the manufacturing process, your instructor will teach you about how to colour your soap and use fragrances correctly, before giving you all the tips and tricks about decorating your soap and applying those all-important finishing touches.
Now you can
Good news - we'll provide you with everything you need for this workshop! Even better news - you'll leave the class with loads of handcrafted soap to proudly display or give away as gifts, as well as the knowledge and confidence to create countless more!
The term 'soap opera' dates back to American daytime radio dramas of the 1930s which were often sponsored by soap or detergent manufacturers.
