Creative Fused Glass

Loved the class. Lots of colour options to make several items and Nadine was on hand to help and advise on what works and how to create your designs. It's great to be able to try something new which is normally not accessible without the technology (i.e. glass kiln)

I had the most FANTASTIC time. The class was interesting, inspiring and relaxing at the same time. Nadine was a fabulous teacher; having the perfect balance of guiding us when needed, encouraging, and being able to give us space to explore our own ideas. I would go to the class again to develop my skills and produce more work. Thanks Nadine fir such a brill session!

I had never done glass craft before this class. Nadine explained a bit of the science behind glass fusion, gave us some basic glass cutting lessons and then let us use our imaginations to create our four pieces of art. There were some examples from previous classes to get us started and Nadine was available to help and point us in a different direction if what we wanted to do wouldn't work or wouldn't give the effect we hoped for. I thoroughly enjoyed the class and meeting Nadine and the other attendees and would love to have another go at glass fusion.

What a fantastic way to spend a Sunday morning,having never done this craft before nadine brief but exciting talk and demo at the beginning left me brimming with ideas. I made 4 coasters which i was happy with- just waiting for the finished pieces to arrive- the anticipation is almost too much… would definitely recommend , my friend purchased vouchers for my birthday before covid came so it was long awaited but we both had a super time and enjoyed chatting with like minded people .

I have never worked with glass before and this was a fantastic introduction. Ready materials and so many beautiful options to create luminous new work! Thank you Nadine

Loved this class. A super creative approach to the medium of fused glass. Nadine was great at answering questions and helping us realise our 'visions'. Very excited to get the finished item!

Nadine was warm, friendly and knowledgable. I initially felt nervous at beginning a creative activity and Nadine was extremely helpful in thinking through and putting ideas into place. The pieces I made are fab and I’m really happy with them! I loved the experience and hope to go back again.

I enjoyed the fused glass class so much. It was great learning all the techniques before being set free to play with all the beautiful glass. My inner magpie definitely came out. So happy with the results too, I love the bowl I made & the other is a gift for my partner for Christmas. Nadine is a wonderful teacher, friendly and fun. Would highly recommend!!

What a Glass Blast! I had such a fun time. 3 hours of pure flow experience! And you cannot go wrong, it will be a beautiful piece of your own art no matter what. I can only recommend!

I bought the gift fir me and my Mum to do together and it was perfect. The class was very relaxed in a great venue- it was summer and we were on the terrace next to the canal beautiful. Nadine was great, she struck the right balance of demonstrations, leaving us to experiment and offering assistance and creative input. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would love to do it again myself!

This class is amazing. I discovered fused glass in September 2020 and once I'd been to my first class I loved it so much I've been back several times since. Nadine has a passion for her craft and as someone who wants to learn, you couldn't ask for more in a tutor. It's mindful and creative activity and everyone I've been in a class with has produced something beautiful, whether it's their first time or not. Highly recommended.

Nadine is very knowledgable and generous with her expertise, and lead the group in a relaxed and informal way. She first explained the materials and the different experimental techniques we could use to achieve our designs, then guided us and discussed how different glass elements in the compositions we had made would perform in the kiln. I really enjoyed this approach as it meant that the workshop was very open and everyone came out with very individual pieces. I'd love to go back very soon :)

I just loved this creative, fun and engaging class. I'd never done anything like it, and Nadine was such a good teacher - I soon felt comfortable using the tools, and experimenting with colour, pattern and design. Not only is Nadine very skilled and technical (handy for a newbie like me) - she's also great chat and incredibly helpful. Thanks again, I can't wait for my next class. Yas X

Just had an AMAZING glass class. It was So, so enjoyable. Very safe in terms of covid precautions and so much fun. Nadine is a really great teacher and the best part is the whole experience has a relaxing, meditative quality. Can’t wait for our next session.

I really loved my glass class, it was my first time working with glass and definitely not my last. Nadine was such a great teacher, I was allowed total freedom and guided when it was needed and wanted, I am so proud of my pieces and enjoyed every bit of the class.

I had a wonderful and insightful class with Nadine who was welcoming and well prepared. We sat in the beautiful garden with plenty of space between participants, overlooking the gorgeous canal. Nadine’s knowledge and interest in fused glass was infectious, I personally felt like I learned about both the history and the material before even getting to the creative part. Nadine’s guidance when coming up with compositions, mixing materials and also the technique was expert to say the least - I had a really lovely day and have come away with a new skill and inspiration to do more. Learnt to make a beautiful piece of fused glass using different colour glass. Nadine was super friendly and helpful, and helped us experiemnt with colours and shapes.

The workshop was well organised and informative. There was plenty of space to move around and work in your own area. I enjoyed the experience and am looking forward to seeing my finished piece.

Ny friend and I had a fantastic time at Nadine's fused glass workshop! We were total beginners to working with any kind of glass but she broke down each step in a very simple and fun way, and encouraged silly ideas and questions while still guiding you towards a wonderful finished product (that we get to keep!) She really knows her craft and is wonderful at keeping a relaxed and engaged vibe among all her students. Thanks Nadine!

What a fantastic class! Having never done anything like this before I was a bit nervous I'd be terrible at it. Nadine was a great teacher fully explaining how to use the tools and guiding us through every stage of the process. She allowed us to be as creative as we liked and was able to skillfully rescue me from a design disaster! I was planning to give these as gifts but now since having so much fun making them I think I'll be keeping them..... What a great way to spend an afternoon, I would definitely do this class again!

I had a great experience in Nadine's workshop. She's very creative, knowledgeable and helpful. Working with glass was completely new to me and I learned a lot. The studio and its location are quite lovely as well.
