Dudes, this one is super easy! Just some casual classic cult fun with craft yeah?
We meet here, in our super rad space on the last Thursday of every month to meet other culty/crafty people, learn something about one another and craft side by side.
Bring your craft of the moment – Crochet, knitting, a bit of weaving, mend ya jeans or just rock up with a beer and ask some questions and we will give you some direction towards to good stuff. The sewing machines are also available on these cult evenings!! Magic.
Dedicate a slice of your valuable time to your craft practice, because one day you will need to able to perform.

About your host, Make Town
Make Town is a textiles & craft studio of sorts. Accessible to adults, children, men and whanau to enjoy together side by side. A local hive of buzzing creativity, focused on inspiring and guiding you through your personal journey of making whatever that happens to be.
Make Town have lots of events and workshops up our sleeves. We have amazing guest tutors and experienced makers wanting to share their passion for making across all textile based disciplines. Discover and learn something new with us, alongside tutors who are patient, encouraging and kind. Who have time to listen and watch your techniques as you work. Gentle advice, top tips and know how, so you continue your making adventure.
Book a workshop that floats your boat, pop in and brush up on a skill you once knew or purchase some sweet products and equipment from the haberdashery in store and online. Whether you are an absolute craft newbie or a seasoned sewing pro, Make Town has got ya x
Brooke Dennis has recently departed from The London Loom, which she co-ran for the the past 2 years to establish this new and exciting craft venture. Brooke has experience in many disciplines of craft, specialising in garment construction, weaving and individual teaching practices, especially with children. She is sofa king excited for this next chapter and can't wait to meet you.
Just bring something to keep your fingers busy while we fill your mind with the ways of cult craft. Please be aware that we will be expecting true dedication to our cause.
