What you will do
2.5 hour workshop
Join Emily of Chap & Darling and be supported through learning the basics of knitting and starting off a beanie hat to show off your new skills! The class will start with 30-60 minutes of knit 101. You'll learn to cast on, knit, purl and cast off with t-shirt yarn scraps to get a feel for the stitches using something easy to work with - then once you're feeling confident you can embark on your beanie.
The class includes (to take away):- 12mm bamboo knitting needles 1 medium balls of Hoooked's Zpagetti t-shirt yarn A yarn needle Patterns for the beanie hat, hand warmers and slipper socks 1 balls of Stitch and Story chunky merino wool (enough for a hat) All in a tote bag to take away
Based in relaxed environments, you'll be able to come along and settle in to crafting at your own pace with all the support you require. Post-class assistance will be available via email and free monthly drop-in classes for any additional guidance required with your knits after class.
