It’s World Breastfeeding week! What better way to celebrate than to join a late night craft workshop and construct your very own pair of felt tits. Or just one! Or none. Or just nipples! Or no nipples, or just a square of plain skin-coloured felt to pin on your lapel. Whatever people!
We basically love an excuse to talk about boobies and nipples, if you’re the same you will thoroughly enjoy our boobie badges workshop. Working with felt, beads and embroidery floss - we present to you the time of your mammary honking lives.
This is a beginners class fuelled with late night lady chat, breastfeeding facts (if any of you have any you’d like to share – Brooke will have some, I’ll be like…nipples?!) and all the BYOB booze and cakes and presents for me that you can stuff in your briefcase. We will gently guide you through designing your badge, the best stitches and effects to use with felt and how to put your boobs together to create a stunning finished accessory to take home with you.
£5 from each ticket will be donated to Le Leche League, the best support for all women at any stage of their breastfeeding journey.

We ensure quality. If your class doesn't reach your expectations, we'll give your money back.
About your host, The London Loom
The London Loom is a weaving studio in Hackney in East London, created by Francesca Kletz in 2016. The London Loom was founded to build a community of people who love making things with their hands and appreciate how good it is for you.
At The London Loom we want to encourage people to indulge in creating for pure satisfaction and fun. We hold community workshops and smaller classes in our studio where we welcome adults and children to work alongside each other; we believe that creativity and inspiration can come from anywhere, it’s not limited to age or background.
Francesca has been teaching weaving and other textile crafts since 2015 and has taught weaving workshops for Tate Modern, Southbank Centre, Scouts, Hackney Arc and the Royal Society of Sculptors and has appeared in (amongst others) Mollie Makes, Stylist, PomPom Quarterly, Time Out (on the front cover!) The Telegraph and is the author of Weave This (Hardie Grant 2018). The London Loom was also named Mollie Makes Best Craft Workshops of 2019.
Ultimately we want to share the good that we feel from learning new skills and making beautiful, tactile things. We teach and host a range of ‘alternative craft’ classes as well as our beginners weaving workshops, as long as there’s something to make, new people to meet and obnoxiously loud laughter to be had, we’re happy.
