Having a one to one course with Aimee was an amazing experience. For the last few years I have been thinking of doing a beginners stained glass course, and when I found Aimee's class I decided to give it a go. I have ambitions to complete my own project of reinstalling stained glass into my Edwardian front door and spoke to Aimee about different designs. She was more than happy to help and advise. The day itself was great, time flew by, but I could see real progress at every stage. Aimee is a fantastic teacher, giving loads of encouragement and tips, but also finding a mix by allowing you to try things yourself. The day is really fun and with the help of Aimee's experience, you'll come away with a really great panel. I came home on a real high.

This was my second class with Aimee: I loved the first one and decided to come back. Aimee is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, and she had an answer to all my questions. She's also a very nice and kind person, and it was a pleasure spending the afternoon with her; she was generous with her time and ensured my panel was completed, even though it was quite an ambitious project. As this was my second class with Aimee, I already knew what to expect, and had prepared my own design. Aimee supported and helped me when I needed it, but also gave me some space to enjoy doing my own thing. I love working with glass, and since the first class I had with Aimee, I've been taking photos of my stained-glass panel to record the beautiful colours that the changing daylight and seasons bring to the panel. I can't wait for my new panel to be dry, so I can put it against my window and admire it. I will certainly book with Aimee again: I totally recommend her classes!

A wonderful day spent making a beautiful piece I will enjoy forever. Aimee is so friendly and makes you feel very welcome. She is calm and knowledgeable and really supported my mum and I in creating something that we both left feeling really excited about. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone thinking about it... it is a great way to spend your day :) (my mum enjoyed it so much she can’t wait to get the bits to keep going with it at home) thanks Aimee!

Your Teacher

After a degree in Illustration, Aimee became fascinated by the beauty of stained glass during an internship with a glass studio in Glasgow. Learning the traditional skills of stained glass (which have remained much the same for hundreds of years), Aimee then completed an MA in Glass Design, and now runs her own stained glass studio in London, making contemporary stained glass panels, windows and sculptures.

Glass is an amazing material, and stained glass craft can result in extraordinary designs, from the traditional to the contemporary and from gallery artworks to beautiful additions to the home. The dazzling effects of…

I had a thoroughly enjoyable day with Aimee learning about stained glass and copper foiling. She was very informative, encouraged creativity and very patient in guiding me through the various stages of the process. I left with a panel that I really like and am not ashamed to show off! This is definitely the start of a new long-term hobby - thanks Aimee!
