Sandalmaking for beginners

I started running shoe workshops in 1997 when I recognised that people wanted to make shoes for themselves as a hobby. There was nowhere available for them to do this at the time. Shoemaking requires very specific tools and machinery that are not available in the local craft shop, so i decided to create a sandalmaking workshop which uses minimal specialist equipment so that it is possible for students to carry on their new found hobby at home.
