Brilliant day learning how to throw pottery on the wheel! Clover was great and I would recommend this class to everyone.

We have a full day of throwing : covering all the needed info to help us make rather nice pots right off the mark. I was absolutely delighted that the skills can be picked up really quickly but then would take years to master. As a newbie, this basically sorted a hand crafted Christmas ❤️

This was my first time throwing on the wheel - I have done pinch pot classes before and loved it so I thought I'd try the wheel. I wasn't sure what to expect and tried to arrive with an open mind. Clover gave us a demonstration where she explained everything very clearly, but I was thinking gosh that looks difficult and my first pot wasn't a great success...neither was my second. Clover was so patient and helpful and really took the time to make sure everyone was progressing and I feel that I got better really quickly as I could really learn from her clear and kind advice after my mistakes. By my 3rd pot I was getting the hang of things and I was really happy with the 6 pots I chose at the end and also the choice of glazes. I'm now thinking of coming back and doing a series of evening classes with Clover to learn even more!

I really enjoyed the day. Clover is an excellent teacher and she clearly demonstrated and explained all the stages of throwing first. We then had ample time to work on our own while she went around supporting each of us, helping where necessary and showing us what to do. I’m looking forward to collecting my glazed and fired pots. I was really delighted with the results. All in all a very enjoyable days class.

Clover is amazing! She is a fantastic teacher, explaining the art of throwing in simple terms with the patience of a saint. She encourages you to go beyond your limits with any wild creative ideas you might have. She is a calming influence and I will return many times as having had some teaching with other potters Clover is way ahead. I cannot recommend her more

I loved the class! Clover got us stuck in right away. Just the right amount of guidance and letting us try it for ourselves. Loved the studio - a fantastic way to spend the afternoon!

I had the most amazing day with Clover. I’ve never done anything with clay before and haven’t been creative in years. The hours just flew by as Clover taught me ‘step by step’ throwing technique. She is down to earth and patient and made learning a new skill fun! I can’t recommend enough. I will be back!
