My time at Workshop 305 has been thoroughly enjoyable and useful. I have been developing my practice and learning a new skill which is helping me to set up a new small business of my own. Its a relaxed pace that allows you to learn what you need at the pace you need to learn it. Lovely teachers and fellow potters. Great space!
Liz Edmonds - 19 May 2022
Fantastic workshop, the tutor was encouraging and knowledgeable and I thoroughly enjoyed my evening creating something I was proud of even though I am a complete beginner. I highly recommend this workshop.

Great time had by all who signed up with me. Learnt lots & enjoyed introduction to working with clay/crank. Ella (teaching potter) highly professional/tuned in and Kerry too. Only suggestion: bring water bottle as 3 hour session physically/mentally demanding so best to hydrate! Definitely check out follow up classes. Letting friends know great set up. Many thanks & best regards Celia

A Hand-building masterclass by Ella. I really appreciated the skills covered in this class, learning the correct methods was priceless and I will use them for all my future hand build projects. I’m looking forward to receiving the finished bowl.

As always Workshop 305 delivered an exciting mystery class. This time, plaster moulding - a new technique expertly guided by Eloise in their large, airy studio. Great fun and made a beautiful piece, which was ready to take home. Thank you

Susan - 4 November 2020
The mystery clay workshop was amazing. In the space if 2.5 hours I rolled out terracotta clay and made a plate, decorated with a glazed design from cut-out stencils. The tuition was excellent - each stage was demonstrated and then time given for us to repeat the process. Each person chose their own designs, glazes and finally the over-glaze which provided the background colour. I had such a sense of achievement at the end knowing that I had completed a piece. I cannot wait to see the fired result in a few weeks time.
Tilly - 20 October 2020

Excellent workshop. I've done three now at this centre and each one has been great fun and I've learned loads. The people who run it and teach are really friendly and welcoming and very knowledgable. Everything is COVID-secure and I felt safe. I've had lots of compliments on the pots I made before from my friends! Highly recommended.
Elizabeth - 21 September 2020
This class was excellent and such a fun way to spend a Saturday evening. The tutor Eloise was great, giving us really clear step by step instructions and building our confidence with the clay very quickly. The venue was VERY covid secure and we all felt safe and well looked after on the evening. Without revealing the mystery element it was a great project, easy to complete in the time given and I can't wait to see the results! Will be booking again for another mystery event soon!
Nicola - 6 September 2020
What a brilliant class! I won’t say what we made in case I spoil someone else’s mystery but the class was great fun, led by a super knowledgeable teacher: friendly, helpful and encouraging. All techniques are thoroughly explained. If you want a fun Saturday night with your friends learning something new, sign up!

Great fun, as expected after the taster session. Elouise is lovely and explains everything so clearly. Kerry is always so welcoming and brilliant at getting back to me on email with any questions I’ve had. The Sgraffito was a fun technique to try, the atmosphere was really relaxing and am excited to see my work glazed and fired. Highly recommend this class! Thank you ladies!
