About your host, Candy Ward Ceramics
Candy’s pottery classes are taught within the eclectic Nightingales Emporium, located a convenient 15 minute walk from High Barnet tube station. Situated in old Victorian baths, the building is a beautiful space to work within.
After finishing her degree in Ceramic Design at Central Saint Martins, Candy was keen to pass on her learnt skills to others. Around teaching, Candy also makes her own work which is focused on the female form and explores representing this in the medium of clay.
Candy has worked with a wide range of students from young children, people with learning disabilities, mature students and people living with dementia. Candy’s teaching style is tailored to the individuals needs, in a relaxed and friendly environment.
With both group sessions and one to one sessions available, you are sure to find a class to suit you.
Please come wearing something you don’t mind getting a little messy!
