5 Weeks - Beginners Throwing on the Wheel

Learn how to begin to master the basics of throwing on the wheel, turning your work and glazing over 5 sessions.

What happens in this class?

In a 5 week beginners throwing class you will learn the basics of throwing, including centering the clay on the wheel, throwing cylinders and bowls, turning the bases of your work and in the last week glazing.

There will be a maximum of ten people attending these classes. Each person has their own dedicated potters wheel.

You will be given a minimum of 6 glazes to choose from to glaze your work and you will be able to keep a maximum of 8 pieces from the class.

Price includes all materials, glazes and firings.

Things to remember

There will be a maximum of 10 people attending this class. Each person has their own dedicated potters wheel and you will be required to wear a mask for the duration of entering the studio. We will also ask you wash your hands with dettol soap in our outdoor sinks…
