2 hour Taster session to give clay a try! You will have the chance to experiment with clay, to try hand-building and decorating techniques.

What happens in this class?

Come and give clay a try in my North Finchley garden studio. The sessions will be small, informal and friendly; allowing you to relax and explore clay techniques. We will make pinch pots, botanical tiles or your own ideas which you can decorate with coloured slips, underglaze and stains.

I will show you the basic techniques to get you started, which you will then be able to use in the two hour session. You will be able to decorate your pieces with coloured slip, stains and oxides.

The pieces made during the session will then be fired in the kiln…

All materials, and two firings included!

Work will need to picked up at a later date or arrangements made for postage.

This was a really fun and fantastic class! Katy is a very fun, kind, accommodating host who definitely knows her stuff! She showed us a bunch of her own creations and then reigned back and let our group's creativity free, but was always helpful when we had questions. Highly recommended! Thanks again
