I found it very therapeutic and the time went quickly. My session involved copying an image in pencil. I didn’t feel I learned very much in terms of technique which was a bit disappointing. As a beginner, I would have liked a bit more guidance. The teacher is charming. The class was well attended which meant that our teacher had to keep moving from one student to another which in turn meant that we had less tuition. At £24 a session this is not cheap so I probably won’t return and perhaps join one of their online classes as I am still keen to learn.

Shahnaze is so warm and friendly and an amazing teacher. With just a few quick lines she can turn your picture into something so much more. She is always ready to give you tips and point you in the right direction. I never thought I could draw, but Shahnaze started me off at just the right level and every piece since then has been more difficult. It has been so great being able to take a piece home every few weeks and to see my improvement. The venue is just right, not too big so Shahnaze can she what you are doing and help when needed. She is very good at giving everyone in the class equal attention.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my classes with art-K Greenwich. The atmosphere in the class is relaxed and having a small group of people in the class makes it possible to everyone work at their own pace. The teacher has been very supportive, helping me to improve my artwork and find my own style. I have so far tried pencil drawing, ink drawing and acrylic painting. I am looking forward to doing some watercolour work next. I would recommend these classes to anyone, regardless of level of experience.

I had such a great time at my art class. Haven't had the chance to unwind and have time to myself for a while. The art teacher was informative and engaging and really made it a fun experience! Can't wait to work on another painting!

I haven't done art in a while so I was apprehensive at first, but I really enjoyed the class. We went at my own pace which was lovely because I don't like being rushed. I started by doing a sketch of a pebble, working on shading. We then looked at David Hockney and I picked a landscape to work on. Really excited to be using acrylics and working on a canvas again. Inspiring part to my week!
