ONE to ONE Painting and Drawing Class

I would definitely recommend this class with Cristiano. He was very informative, patient and tailored the lesson to suit what I was looking for. I have come away with a few tips too. He was also very friendly and put me at ease immediately.

Having had the pleasure of a One to one Painting and Drawing lesson with Cristiano Di Martino I can’t stress enough how great it was, Cristiano was a fantastic teacher, as it was my first time actually committing paint onto a canvas we naturally started with the basics. He covered all sorts including mixing the paints, prepping the canvas and painting the initial outline of my picture. I honestly feel like I have learnt so much and feel confident that I can progress sooner rather than later. I will definitely be arranging a second lesson to find out more.

Cristiano is a great teacher. He explained a lot of the methods if working, techniques and styles. Overall the class was great and fun. Would highly recommend!

This was an excellent 1-1 class and great value for money. Cristiano is patient, gives clear instructions and is adjusts the class to your skill level and objectives. The class is a great introduction and help in finding out whether you would like to continue learning to draw or paint.

It was a fantastic learning experience with good communication. I have great self-achievement and satisfaction when painting with Cristiano. He can always motivates me to try when I am not confident to draw, also his professional attitude and technique make me so relax and trust myself. One-to-one teaching is perfect for getting a focus learning, so that teacher can tell me what I need to improve directly. The venue is great, comfortable and relaxing. Well equipped.

As someone who has never painted before I found the session extremely enjoyable, informative and simple to understand Cristiano is an excellent teacher who explains well, is very patient and immediately puts you at ease. I shall be booking more sessions.

I really loved my class with Cristiano. I attend anoher art class before with diferent teachers and I can say he was the best experience so far. He really put atention to explain me everything very well , and in only 3 hours we manage to make big advances on our painting. I highly recomend him !

I will rate with 10 stars my class with Cristiano if I could . He understood perfectly my idea about what I wanted to learn and he explain really well everything. He’s really patience and professional. He made me feel very confident and comfortable even if is the first time you touch a brush. Cristiano is a fantastic artist and great teacher. I came in nervous and was quickly made to feel at ease. He is very skilled and professional, and the lesson was much enjoyed, I highly recommend Cristiano for anyone who wishes to have a go at painting, no matter what level they’re at.

I thoroughly enjoyed my class from start to finish. Cristiano listened to my background and experience, shared and offered options on areas of development and we agreed the session objectives together. I learned core skills on brush strokes, materials, techniques, creating depth, working with oils (which i’d never used before). His teaching method was great, working alongside me so I felt comfortable. I felt a sense of achievement at the end of the session having produced something I was proud of and feel I could replicate in my own time. After the session we talked about options for a follow up session and Cristiano took the time to share a summary of the session via email for guidance, websites/shops for buying my own materials at good prices and quality. Cristiano is clearly an experienced, talented professional artist who I will be booking a follow up session with to continue my learning.

Cristiano is a very generous teacher, with great knowledge of anatomy drawing and Oil painting. He showed me how to properly apply and mix paint, to create different flesh colours for the human form. His lessons are very insightful and inspiring. He makes you feel at ease and creates a great atmosphere for learning in his Studio. It was a wonderful experience being taught by Cristiano. He is very open and friendly. I learned a lot from him, in just a few classes. I would highly recommend his classes to any art student or art enthusiast!!

Cristiano is a thoughtful and inspiring teacher. It’s so great to have one-to-one classes and be able to discuss with him what I want to get better at and develop each time. The studio is small but inviting and authentic. He has a great variety of materials to experiment with during the sessions. I’d highly recommend Cristiano’s private classes to everyone I know!

Cristiano really brings out the confidence in you when faced with the intimidation of a blank canvas. I enjoy my classes with him and he has inspired me to paint every day. He encourages me to explore my own style. Aside from being a great teacher his professional work is remarkable and has great potential to go very far in the art world. Its an honour to be taught by him.
