2 hour workshop
I often find people are anxious about watercolour as it can be seen as such a tricky medium, but this class will simplify the process. The class will teach you how to work freely with watercolour, to experiment and even rework areas you don’t like. It is a fun experimental class perfect to unwind after work.
For total beginners you will learn basic watercolour techniques but the focus will be on pushing boundaries of what watercolours can do. Students are welcome to bring their own design or use ones provided in class, the session will focus on abstracting the image.
You will be working with brushes and other tools that the teacher has incorporated over the years as a practising artist. Techniques include masking areas with tape or templates, monochrome paintings, and building confidence to trust your instincts.
Your teacher will supply watercolour paper and a variety of brushes to use.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are supplied. There are plenty of local coffee shops and food stores alone roman road to pick up any other food and drinks.
