Drop in Art Classes

Excellent teacher, lovely bright art room, fun class but I am learning a lot too. It is difficult to find these adult art classes on their website, you have to go right down to the bottom on the home page and in the tiny print at the very bottom find “Adult classes” and press that, to get the page for all their adult art classes. Otherwise it just comes up with the classes for kids and students, and you might give up!

I went to the class with my husband in the weekday. I didn't expect much from the class initially as it was my husband's idea to go for a painting class. I did some painting before, but I haven't done it for a while. The tutor introduced a few style of paintings to us. It was quite interesting. I enjoyed the class as the tutor was very informative and knowledgable. We could easily ask the advise from the tutor and get idea from him. He was also helpful to show us the technique of painting. If we have time again, we will definitely join the class again. :)

Absolutely brilliant experience. We were lucky enough to end up with our own private art class where we painted some watercolours. The teacher gave us some options to inspire us but also let us choose our own if we wanted - so I chose my own image to paint and my partner chose a picture from an Ann Blockley book that was available. Over the next couple of hours the teacher let us get on with it, while generally chatting and providing advice and tips as and when needed. Very easy going and enjoyable experience, just what we needed after months of sitting around at home! I’d happily visit again :-)
