I highly recommend booking a drop-in session! This is what I booked and I throughly enjoyed it. It got me excited about art again, I learnt new techniques I could practice at home. I will be attending again and booking more classes.

Having not picked up a paint brush in over 10 years, I was a little hesitant when I booked myself onto the art class. There was no need! I had such a lovely afternoon and my patient and very enthusiastic teacher picked up straight away what I would enjoy painting and we started with some lovely ice breaker exercises using watercolours. I am really excited about booking a course again - thank you!

Great class, I would 100% recommend it. Zoe is extremely helpful and reassuring and provides you with all the help you need but also gives you the freedom to work on your own if you would like and gives you a great range of options in terms of things to work on. I now have signed up to the weekly classes!

Fantastic little art studio in Clapham. Zoe, who manages the studio is an excellent teacher, she has a wonderfully warm and friendly manner and from the minute I walked in I felt welcomed. She is patient and explains things in a way that inspire you to try out and experiment with new techniques. Having not picked up a brush in decades I am so happy I’ve found this set up and will definitely be a regular from now on. Thank you Zoe & team.

sweet intimate venue at the independent quirky end of Clapham Common (great deli nearby). Had a 90 minute session where I sketched a pebble and then picked a Hockney to replicate - Zoe was a great tutor gently suggesting ways to improve my shading, improve my scaling and general tips on how to blend the paints. Made me feel really comfortable despite me having a painting age of a six year old. Loved it so much I signed up for the term is one of the highlights of my week. Three weeks in my canvas is still not complete / but the fun is in the journey, not just the destination!
Jane Mather - 25 June 2019
I learned how to use different types of pencils for sketching, and how to use water colour paints do to start painting a woodland scene I picked out to copy. This was my first art class since school (over 25 years ago) but the teacher made me feel very comfortable just to have a go. She really has a knack with drip feeding just the right amount of guidance at a time. I highly recommend these classes!

A very welcoming class, and Zoe, the teacher is incredibly friendly and supportive. We started by practicing drawing, and then moving on to explore painting with watercolours. The teacher explained the course clearly, and there is great flexibility: you can take the course wherever your interests lie or let them help you decide! No prior art experience is required: it’s a nice, friendly, low-pressure environment where you can learn and practice art.
