Drawing for Design

An intensive course for beginners and the more experienced artist/craftsperson who wishes to learn about basic drawing techniques and how they can be applied to designing for craft- based disciplines such as textiles, stained glass, mosaic, ceramics, jewelry and interior design.

Specifically devised drawing exercises will be set each week that will focus on a variety of diverse approaches to design and incorporate the teaching of basic drawing skills. Relevant artists, craftspeople and designers will be studied and comprehensive handouts will be available for reference and future study.
