What you will do
2 hour workshop
Join us for a fun holiday workshop in a friendly and cosy atmosphere. Make your own personalised cards this year using gorgeous brush calligraphy!
We will start by learning basic lettering strokes with a brush pen, the modern and mess-free way to do calligraphy. This will include practicing the alphabet and joining up letters, focusing on how to use the brush pen to make those beautiful thin and thick strokes. After practicing the alphabet and fine-tuning the type-font, we will then practice lettering the festive phrase of your choice!
Once you've got the hang of it, we will use watercolours to design beautiful backgrounds to add a bit of magic to your cards. See the photos for samples!
All materials are included. You will be given lettering practice sheets, 4 blank greeting cards + envelopes and your own brush pen to take home.
There will be plenty of help throughout the evening and you will be surrounded by other beginners. Can't wait to see you!
